This page explains how we comply with GDPR, and answers other commonly asked questions.

What is GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation is a new EU law that comes into force on 25th May 2018. It gives people more control over the ways that organisations use their data. You can find out more about GDPR here.

Is Content Workflow GDPR compliant?

Content Workflow is compliant with GDPR. As we're located within the EU, this is a legal obligation.

What information do we store?

We store content (copy, images, files, attachments) that is uploaded by our customers. All customers have control over this data as it can be edited, archived or deleted using individual logins.

We also store your company name, your company type (agency or in-house), your payment plan, your usage, the members in your account and your email address.

If you contact our support team with a query or to report a problem with our service we keep a record of that communication.

Our marketing team also store your name and email address if you download any of our resources or register for webinars. Your email address will be used for marketing and communications purposes.

You can see the full details of the information we store in our Privacy Policy

Where do we store our data?

All customer data is stored in Amazon’s Oregon (USA) data centre.

As part of our duty to ensure all of our third party data processors of data are GDPR compliant, we've audited Amazon and are satisfied that they meet the requirements. You can read more about Amazon's GDPR compliance here.

How do we store data?

Our database is fully encrypted and all your data is encrypted in transit. You can find out more about our security process here.

Can I permanently delete all of my account information?

Content Workflow will permanently delete your account data twelve months after you cancel your account. If you would like your data deleted sooner, please get in touch with [email protected] and we can help with that.

You can learn more about this in our Privacy Policy

It's also possible to soft delete or export your content from your account yourself.

Where are your terms and privacy policy?
