Importing multilingual content in Sitefinity is also possible. Content Workflow supports multiple languages via content tabs.

1. Setup mappings

In order to import all language versions into a single item in Sitefinity, a mapping should be specified for each language version.

Example of a mapping, defined for the Bulgarian version of a news items

And a mapping for the news items in English

2. Import Content

Once mappings are specified the content can be imported via the Import function. Navigate to the Import screen.

3. Configure the import

1. Select Account.
2. Select Project
3. Select the items you want to import.
4. Select the mapping with the language you want to import for in the mappings of the item. Each mapping contains information about language, so you can see many mappings for a single item.

4. Repeat the process for each language

Once unique Content Workflow items are imported for any language, you can easily import them using mappings for other languages and the item will be translated (versus creating a new item for each language).

5. View results

As a result, we will get multilingual items in Sitefinity
