You can export the content from a project in the following formats:
Export a Word doc
You can export your whole project as a Word doc file. This can be useful for external reviews or to get a hard copy of your project offline. Links to all file attachments are included.
1. Open the 'Migrate' tab
2. Click on the 'Export' sub-tab.
3. Select 'Microsoft Word (.docx) from the dropdown
4. Click 'Export project'
5. Once your file is processed (it should show on screen), click 'Download .docx'
Links to uploaded assets will show as links in the Word doc, as shown below. If you want to download the assets themselves as files, see here.
The first page of the Word doc shows the order of the items as they appear in the hierarchy.
Export a PDF doc
You can export your whole project as a PDF file. This can be useful for external reviews or to get a hard copy of your project offline.
1. Open the 'Migrate' tab
2. Click on the 'Export' sub-tab.
3. Select 'PDF document (.pdf) from the dropdown
4. Click 'Export project'
5. Once your file is processed (it should show on screen), click 'Download PDF'

Export a CSV file
You can export your whole project as a CSV file. This can be useful to upload your content into a CMS which we don't currently integrate with.
You can also use this method to re-import content to another GatherContent project or account.
1. Open the 'Migrate' tab
2. Click on the 'Export' sub-tab.
3. Select 'Spreadsheet (.csv) from the dropdown
4. Click 'Export project'
5. Once your file is processed (it should show on screen), click 'Download CSV'
Links to uploaded assets will show as plain text URLs in the CSV file, as shown below. If you want to download the assets themselves as files, see here.
Export project assets
Project assets (includes anything uploaded to an asset field in GatherContent) are downloaded as a ZIP file, which is sent to your email address.
