Migrate your Items from Content Workflow to WordPress
From the 'Template Mappings' area of the plugin, select 'Review Items for Import' found by hovering over the name of the Template you wish to map from.
2. From the 'Import Items' page, select the items you wish to migrate into WordPress by ticking the checkboxes on the left-hand side.
You'll be able to see the name of the Content Workflow Item, the last updated date for that Item, and that Item's Content Workflow status.
3. Select the items you want to import and click 'Import Selected Items' at the bottom of the table.
4. Wait for your items to be imported.
Importing Items is an asynchronous operation, so once you start the import you can leave the page and it will continue until the Items have completed importing.
This means you're about to import a large number of Items from Content Workflow, but still keep in mind this could affect your site's performance, so you should try and do the initial content pull when you aren't expecting a lot of traffic.
Tip: You can review the progress of your current import by clicking back to the Template Mappings area of the Content Workflow plugin. Hover over the Template which has Items being imported, and click "Review Items for Import' as mentioned earlier in Step 1.
5. See the results of your import.
Go to the post type you selected (post or page) and you'll see a list of all the items you imported from Content Workflow. Here you will be able to see and change the Content Workflow workflow status and sync all the post types with the latest content.
Update your Posts or Pages in WordPress with any changes made in Content Workflow
You can update Posts or Pages in WordPress in two ways:
Note: This is a "destructive operation", meaning any changes in the receiving side will be overwritten, so be sure someone else is not working on the content when you push or pull!
Pull Item updates using the WordPress bulk edit tool
Push or pull Items in bulk by clicking the "Content Workflow Sync" button from the WordPress bulk edit tool. Pulling your Items allows you to import the latest version from Content Workflow, to update your Posts or Pages.

Push and pull content updates from the post editor page meta-box. Pulling your Items allows you to import the latest version from Content Workflow, to update your Posts or Pages.
Import your content from WordPress to Content Workflow
First, you need to create the mapping between the Content Workflow template and the Post Type. Follow the steps in the mapping set-up for this.
Select the Post Type and then the content you would like to import from WordPress. Then select the bulk edit option.
Select 'Content Workflow Sync'.
Select the content you'd like to push to Content Workflow and click 'Assign Template Mapping'. Choose the account and template to associate with the WordPress content. Once you've done this you'll be able to push all written content from WordPress and the Items will be created in Content Workflow. In the future, we will look to also support Importing of images from WordPress.

If you have not associated your WordPress content with a Template Mapping, the post editor page meta-box will provide the opportunity to do so.
